Ison (CEO Kim Eung-wook),
who developed the first solar power structure in the industry, has begun to
reshape the domestic solar energy structure market. The company recently signed
an MOU with Ilsung Power Industry (CEO Lee Ho-ki), a company specialized in
solar power business.

According to Ison, existing solar power structures are installed with concrete
basic methods. Quality was determined by the skill of the operator as well as
the complex construction phase. It was also a problem that a large number of
workers were involved.

To solve this problem, Ison has recently developed a steel beam basic solar
structure that uses corrosion resistant steel as the basis for its molded
products. It also developed and applied modular construction method for the
first time in the industry that pre-assembles structures, foundations, and
modules and is then transported to the site.

"Steelbow basic modular construction method can reduce costs by
simplifying the installation process as well as safety and durability of the
structure," said CEO Kim Eung-wook of Ison. It will be used more for
large-scale solar power plants, he added.

Ison plans to supply steel beam basic modular construction method to many
domestic and foreign companies. As the first step, the company signed an MOU
with Ilsung Electric Power Co. to build a pilot project. With the MOU, Ilsung
Electric Power Co. will apply the construction method for the first time to
3.5MW solar power plants in Gyeongju, which are scheduled to be implemented in
the first half of this year.

According to Ilsung Electric Power Industry, there has been no countermeasure
to the horizontality of modules due to differences in land level when
installing solar power structures and the erosion of columns after
installation. It took a lot of money to install complementary devices, Ilsung
Power Industry said.

"To solve this problem, we found an easy and competitive method by sharing
the technology for optimizing the structure with Ison," Ilsung Power
Industry said. "We decided to apply the economic 'Basic Integrated Photovoltaic
Structure Modular Method'."

Meanwhile, Ison has completed patent registration in Korea under the Steel Beam
Basic Modular Method and is applying for international patent.
